NFT Creator Contest: Horror

Who Can Participate

This contest is open to all IMVU Creators. 

How to Participate

Complete the submission form by Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 11:59:59pm Pacific Time. You may edit your submission form to include additional links to your products up to the time of the deadline. 

Creating NFTs on IMVU is similar to making regular products! To participate in this contest, submit your products in the same way you normally submit for the regular IMVU catalog. See additional contest rules below.

• All submissions must follow the horror/scary theme as best as possible.
• Submissions must be new GA products, meshed and textured by you, and be from your own imagination. No copyrighted or branded material is allowed. Submissions in IMVU Studio are highly encouraged but not required.
• Submissions must be in one of the categories below. Only clothing and avatar products are allowed. Eyes, eyebrows, skins, stickers and badges will NOT be considered.

• Submissions must be derived only from the following approved IMVU empty base products:

• When submitting your entry, under the INFO tab in IMVU Studio please make sure that Mint as an NFT is switched ON,  List for Sale is OFF and Searchability is ON. Then submit your product as an NFT.

*DO NOT publish or make your product live for sale. This will lead to the automatic disqualification of that product.

Judging Criteria

• Creators can submit multiple submissions, but only one product and its Creator can win either the Grand Prize or Runner-Up Prizes.
• Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
  • Overall originality of submission (30%);
  • Aesthetic appeal of submission (30%); and
  • Level of Detail and Technical Quality of submission (40%)
• After the contest is over and winners are chosen, ALL participants will be able to publish their submission as an NFT and sell their NFT for VCOIN.

Contest Prizes

• 1 Grand Prize Winner: 
  • 25,000 VCOIN ($100 USD) or equal value in VCORE (eligible users ONLY)

• • Featured in Shop showcase slide linking to your IMVU shop
  • Tagline of “NFT Creator Contest” Winner on your winning NFT product
  • Featured on IMVU (e.g. Featured Creators, Discover Feed, Messages)
  • Featured on IMVU social media channels 

• 5 Runner-Ups
  • 5,000 VCOIN ($20 USD) or equal value in VCORE (eligible users ONLY)
  • Featured on IMVU (e.g. Featured Creators, Discover Feed, Messages)
  • Featured on IMVU social media channels

Open to individuals who, at the time of entry, are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is older). “Sweepstakes Period” is from 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time on September 15th, 2023 to 11:59:59 p.m. PT on October 15th, 2023. Winners will each receive VCOIN in amounts ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 or equal value in VCORE (eligible users ONLY). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Sweepstakes subject to Official Rules. Details and restrictions apply; read the Official Rules above. Contest void where prohibited.
