Sleigh bells are ringing, snow is falling, and there’s just a little something magical in the air this winter! Join us on a Seek & Snap scavenger hunt, where you’re tasked to find the day’s themed item in a wintery room, snap a photo, and share it on your feed.
To get started, make sure you’re following IMVU on Instagram (@IMVU) where we’ll reveal the daily theme in our Stories starting Monday, December 5. Then, all you have to do is find the item revealed and snap a creatively styled photo to share. We’ll be looking for cool outfits, creative poses, and of course the item of the day!
Each day through Friday, December 9, we’ll feature up to 5 users on IMVU’s social channels with our top user receiving 5,000 Credits. Additional users will also be whitelisted on IMVU’s Discover feed for an extra bump in fame.

On Wednesday, December 7, our theme will celebrate all things sparkly in honor of our Diamond December VIP event. When it comes to Diamond Day, anything and everything sparkly goes. Check our Stories for additional instructions on what to include in your snap and check out the event details!
5 Tips to Get Featured
Every day, hundreds of thousands of IMVU avatars share their looks to their feed. You can imagine how many photos we’re looking through to find our featured favorites! We hear you, you want more users featured. We’re doing our very best, so help us help you. When it comes to being featured, there are a few important things we take into consideration before we officially whitelist any feed post!
- Make sure your photo clearly includes the revealed item of the day.
- Your avatar style should be fun, unique, and on theme.
- Your photo must include the hashtag #SeekandSnap
- Your outfit cannot be stolen and must include items that you purchased on IMVU.
- Your photo should not include any copyrighted or branded materials.
While we cannot guarantee a post will be whitelisted, these elements are important in our daily review.
