Can I still use the old version of IMVU 3D Chat?
As a reminder, you’ll have the ability to toggle back and forth between the two versions by simply changing a setting in the Friends window > under the Settings menus > check or un-check “Use New UI”. Once you change that setting, you’ll need to restart IMVU.
Additionally, if you find that you experience any difficulty with the new release, you’ll have the ability to go back to an older release if you choose to do so.
Please note that when you move from the old version of 3D Chat to the All-New Chat, similar to when you download the latest version today, your favorites are not carried over. The good news is that with the new 3D Chat, we’ve made a change in how we store this information, so now, Recently Visited and Favorite Chat Rooms will always be saved when you download more recent versions.

Loving the new update!
However, in the shop tab, there still isn’t any wishlist. Can you please fix that problem. Thank you.
Ya. The new update on imvu is awesome. I hope you guys like it as much as i do.
Can’t use the “Try It” buttons in AND out of the previewer. So right now all for me to do is sit back and wear the same old clothes until this is fixed.
Impressive.
But:
-Wishlist issue (stated many times).
-Can’t try on poses.
-Songs don’t play fully.
-It’s kind of laggy at times.
Songs aren’t supposed to play fully since a long time. They only play for 20 seconds, unless you have a dinosaur client version.
Can’t try on poses and the try it room is way too small.
The only problem I have is that you can’t use triggers in the try it room. ._. Could you please fix that?
um you should really fix a lot of things.
half of my stuff i get or buy is not showing up when i go to put it on, fix it soon or im switching back
seriously though, there is sooo many things wrong with it!
I dislike this New IMVU alot. There are ALOT of bugs to it. How do we switch back to the old one? Because i Seriously never want to use this again.
Things i came across that i dislike/didnt work
-No wishlist
-Try it room {because of the grey background do you know how easy it is for people to STEAL the outfits?}
-Freezes {which is extremely sad since i am currently using a Dell Studio Laptop which i may remind you is one of the newest laptops out. There is no excuse for it to freeze}
-Different Moods dont work
-Cant select a catagory under the type of clothing
-When you go into “Me” you cant change tabs near “clothing” its stuck on clothing.
-Cant use trigger in try-it
-The away status. You should have made it so you dont have the away message over your avatar. Just because your away doesnt mean you arent going to be using your avatar!
-Cant close the “Friends – IMVU” window.
-My inventory is missing most of my clothing. I know i have alot hidden but most of my favorite outfits are not there. i have like only 5-10 things per catagory.
-And so my list could go on. I have one last things to say to you imvu.
You keep trying to make everything bigger and better, or Safer or what ever. But let me tell you something that you have been told MANY times but ignore. YOU FAIL 90% of the time at it. SO STOP! I speak for and with all my friends on imvu when i say that. You need to listen better. Improve what we actaully need. Leave alone what we dont. And when you think about fixing all the things i said in my list. Maybe you should try it out a few times First? It doesnt really seem like you tried this out very well. Me and my friends are very disappointed in IMVU. ~Arii and her friends
i appreciate all the work, but i would be really happy if you could fix the try room (new shop tab)..it does not let us use and try triggers, so it is impossible to try actions and we can not rotate our avatar to see the back side of the product, and i wish the try it part could be resizable, it is sooo tiny and it lacks moves right now
umm.. actually i CAN rotate in the shop/try it tab… dont know why u cant…
the only thing that bothers me is that it doesnt have the wishlist button thing…and u cant try poses, otherwise i like this new thing…
